1. A human double-stranded DNA virus of the species JC polyomavirus, causing progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy and other diseases in immunodeficient patients.
2. Jamestown Canyon virus

Etymology / origin

After the patient, John Cunningham, in whom ZuRhein and Chou identified this virus in 1965 by electron microscopy.
