Meaning

1. Of or associated with the city of Kyiv (the capital city of Ukraine).
2. Of or associated with the city of Kiev, especially when referring to the medieval period (c. 880–c. 1150) when the city dominated the East Slavic lands which today are in Belarus, Ukraine, and minor parts of Moldova, Poland, and Russia.
3. Alternative form of Kyivan.
