1. A province of South Africa which was originally part of Transvaal.
2. A river in Southern Africa whose source is at the border of South Africa and Botswana near Johannesburg and which flows about 1,770 km (1,100 miles) through South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique to the Indian Ocean.
