Phocis

Meaning

1. An ancient region in the central part of ancient Greece that included Delphi.
2. A regional unit of the administrative region of Central Greece, in modern Greece. Capital and largest city: Amphissa. It is located north northeast of the Peloponnese, which included Delphi.
